The Company:

Our company started about two decades ago as a general construction and remodeling company (Modern House Company), which performed several private and public projects in different areas in Syria.Modern House Company is implementing ISO 9001-2000. The company was certified by Lloyds in 2000.

In recognizing the need to have a better access to health care and provide state of the art facilities to accommodate a wide range of population, we founded a company that took upon itself the hard work of acquiring experience and financial support. Hospitals Construction and Engineering Inc. started this mission by building the Specialty Medical Center in Damascus. This hospital is a member in a group of medical centers, which will be operating in several cities in Syria (Damascus 60-70 beds, Homs 230 beds, Aleppo 230 beds). These hospitals will be unique in several aspects:

1-     Physicians are owners as well as operators of these hospitals depending on the number of shares they hold in each hospital company.

2-     European and American standards are being used in construction and management of these hospitals.

3-     Our physicians are highly qualified and trained in the US or Europe, with remarkable experience in implementing up-to-date technology in all fields of medicine.

As it is true all over the world, health care is becoming a challenge with high cost to providers and patients. We are striving to provide a high quality health care that is affordable as well as up-to-date. Our goals are to provide an accessible health care to our patients in Syria and surrounding countries utilizing our American and European board certified physicians and a team of experienced staff in state of the art facilities.
